Safety Training
The first step in ensuring a safe work environment is by providing general safety training to all research staff, faculty, and students who use our greenhouses. Our brief training session covers the Worker Protection Standard, Heat Illness Prevention, as well as general safety guidelines and procedures for working safely in the greenhouse and field environments. We offer safety training multiple times each quarter; please check the dates below to find a training session that works with your schedule. The online training now requires registration.
The next Greenhouse/Field Safety Training sessions will be held via Zoom. You MUST use your UC Davis Zoom account and email (example@ucdavis.edu) to register for the Zoom training. Upon completion of the registration form, you will automatically receive the meeting Zoom link.
